Jessica Ajoux

Agility started as a childhood interest for Jessica Ajoux, but through the years, the interest intensified and now it is her full blown passion. After graduating from Princeton University, agility became her full time job thanks to the help of her mentor, Diane Bauman. Jessica is an active competitor, instructor and agility judge. She considers herself a student of the game and works hard to stay on the cutting edge of this ever evolving sport.

Jessica has worked with many accomplished national and international trainers, is a OneMind Dogs coach, and continues to study and learn from the best of the best.

Jessica has achieved many accolades at the national and international with a variety of dogs. Her most notable accomplishments include:

Nationally:
- 2 time AKC National Agility Champion (Hallelujah 2021, 2022)
- Premier Cup 2 time winner, and multiple other podiums (Hallelujah, Optimus Prime, FameUS 2019-2024)
- Westminster Masters Agility Champion (FameUS, 2018)

Internationally:

- WAO Gold Medalist Games (Hallelujah, 2022), Bronze Medalist Biathlon (Empowered, 2024), Bronze Medalist Pentathlon (Hallelujah, 2024)

Jessica is committed and passionate about sharing her knowledge and understanding of all facets of Agility with her students. She believes her job is to teach each human how to be an effective dog trainer and handler. She wants both dogs and humans to understand the how, the why and the when. That’s knowledge! When everyone understands and is confident with what they are doing- speed and success will arise. Jessica firmly believes that in order for one (either human or dog) to understand what is “right,” they must also experience what is “wrong.” It is through making mistakes and working through difficulties that we learn how to be successful. These principles permeate through her teaching, view points and life.

The Blue Room of Requirement

The Blue Room of Requirement

The Main Ring

The Main Ring

Our facility features three separate training rings: the Main Ring, Super Skills Training Hall, the blue “Room of Requirement”. The rings have heat, fans and garage doors that can be opened for increased air flow.

We also have two separate heated and air-conditioned indoor crating rooms, two large designated potty areas and ample parking.

The Main Ring is 85X100 with GrassTex True Turf. This pellet-less turf offers great traction for the dogs, is very easy for handlers to run on. It is being used in dog facilities around the country. We have opted to include a foam backing on the turf to provide proper cushioning. We are selective with regards to what surface we will run our own dogs on and so wanted the best for our “home-turf.” Our equipment is top of the line complete with HVC tunnels, Jenny Bags, Clip and Go Bags, Clip and Go DogWalk and A-frame, as well as a selection of Max200 and MAD agility equipment.

The Super Skills Training Hall is 34X130 with the same GrassTex True Turf. The equipment is from Max200, MAD, Clip and Go, Jenny Bags and Desert Paws Agility Dog Walk and A-frame. It is a perfect space for training and serves a crating room when we are hosting trials.

The “Blue Room of Requirement” is 35X45 with Great Mats, another popular agility flooring used throughout the country. This ring is perfect for skills training, puppies or obedience classes.
